Purple Hands - aka "harvest hands" - is the temporary purple and black stain that occurs from prolonged contact with fermenting grapes. We named our label Purple Hands in tribute to the hands-on nature of the Oregon wine country. Our wine grapes are hand picked, hand sorted and hand punched. Each vintage bares the sweat, tales and laughter of a select covey who love wine, the process of creating it, and its capacity to bring people together.
